THE ABRUPT CLIFFS
by ROBYN SKYRME

… is an occasional and irregular mailout with no particular focus or genre. It’s anything from close-reading to ghost stories.

I’m a writer, and a musician. Before the pandemic, music was my living, but I decided I wanted to retrain as a coder. I define as queer, or gay. Both. I am an addict, in recovery. I’m almost six foot tall. I used to live on a boat, and one of my life goals is to do it again.

Under another name, I’ve had work in Penguin Modern Poets, published eleven books of poetry with small presses (most recently Shapeshifting from RunAmok Press), and on 16 May, Pilot Press are publishing a prose collection — my ‘queer pillow book’ — Candles and Water.
